Heather is currently an undergraduate senior at Hood College and is pursuing a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology. She is enrolled in the Honors College at Hood along with the 4Plus Program, allowing her to take graduate courses whilst in undergrad. She is planning on pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hood College post graduation.
Heather has always been passionate about the well being of others, and feels working to help her community is what she is meant to do. She currently works as a Behavioral Health Professional for an agency in her hometown in Maine. There, she works with children with disabilities under 18 years of age on varying social and life goals.
Outside of work and academics, Heather can be found doing various activities. She enjoys hiking with her dog, kayaking, reading, knitting, and crocheting. Currently, she is working on her second sweater!
