Heather earned her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hood College. She holds a clinical license in Maryland and West Virginia and is a board approved supervisor in Maryland. Heather has extensive experience working with teens and adults in a variety of settings, including school-based, residential, and outpatient. She has expertise in treating issues related to complex trauma, dissociation, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, mood disorders, and personality disorders. She uses a strengths-based and person-centered approaches with a focus on building a strong therapist-client relationship to walk alongside clients on their healing path. She also provides equine therapy services as an adjunct or stand alone intervention upon request.

When not at work, Heather can be found playing with her dogs at the park, relaxing at home while playing video games, and taking impromptu road trips to discover natural treasures.
