Kris started her personal mental health journey in 8th grade when she convinced her mother to borrow the family credit card in order to invest in a self-help program she saw advertised on PBS. She remains insatiably curious about the human experience and deeply enjoys being a part of her clients' profound and unique journeys.

She earned her Masters of Social Work from the University of Denver and a Masters in Educational Psychology Applied Developmental Science from the University of Virginia. She has more than 20 years of combined experience working for non-profits, residential programs, outpatient private practice, higher education, and primary schools. She works with clients ages 14-65 across a wide range of barriers to mental health. She is a Maryland board-approved supervisor for Social Workers and Professional Counselors and Therapists, a member of the Wilderness Guides Council, a faculty member at the Center for Nature-Informed Therapy and founder of Bajgier Investment Group, LLC.

When she's not at work, Kris can be found hiking, foraging, dancing, engaging in the creative arts, traveling internationally, or trying desperately to keep up with her dog, Hazel.
