Larissa Fitzgibbons is a Counseling Graduate Intern who is currently working on completing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hood College here in Frederick, Maryland. She is also concurrently completing a Thanatology certification program at Hood College. She is in the process of transitioning from a previous career as a Registered Nurse, and she brings her passion for connecting with others, providing trauma-informed care, and making health and wellness more accessible to all into this new chapter. Outside of work, Larissa is passionate about animal advocacy, swimming, doing yoga poorly but enthusiastically, and going on long walks with her three senior rescue dogs.
